Mr. LaSpina has nearly 40 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, including construction, loan administration and servicing, underwriting, portfolio management, origination, special assets, and credit. Prior to joining IZO Capital, Mr. LaSpina served as a Senior Vice President with OceanFirst Bank for three years in Northern New Jersey, where he established and expanded the Bank’s CRE lending business in this new market.

Before this role, Mr. LaSpina served as a Senior Vice President with TD Bank for 23 years, holding various leadership positions. These included serving as Division Head, where he managed a lending team with a portfolio exceeding $1 billion, and a credit role, where he was responsible for overseeing and structuring all investment and development CRE lending throughout the East Coast region.

Mr. LaSpina has extensive experience in real estate acquisitions, residential development, and the financing and marketing of real estate investment opportunities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Iona College.
